Wuhan reports first COVID-19 case after more than a month

WUHAN City in China has again registered a positive case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) after more than a month.


According to a report by the National Health Commission, it recorded 14 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on May 9 including those from Wuhan City.


This is also the highest reported case count since April 28.


According to the agency, the newly identified cases of COVID-19 in Wuhan became asymptomatic or invisible to any symptom.


Meanwhile, 11 new cases were reported in Shulan City in Jilin province, China that are all members of the same family.


Meanwhile, two other new cases have been identified as imported infections or foreigners who are also affected by COVID-19.
