NAPILING pambato ng 1SAMBAYAN si Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Gerona Robredo sa halalan 2022.
Tapos na ang selection process ng 1SAMBAYAN at si Vice President Robredo ang napiling pambato ng pagka-pangulo sa darating na pambansang halalan.
“VP Leni not only topped the 1SAMBAYAN internal survey, but we also determined, through a rather impassioned deliberations process, that she also has in abundance all the criteria we set for our Pambato: ”Tapat na Pagkatao, Mahusay na Pinuno and Marami nang Nagawa,” ayon kay Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio.
Sa limang nominado ng isinumite sa mga kasapi ng 1SAMBAYAN, si VP Leni ang nanalo sa botohan.
Ayon kay Carpio, ang internal survey ay isa sa kanilang basehan sa pagpili ng pambato.
Kasama din dito ang masusing pagtalakay sa pamantayan, isang due diligence research sa kanilang track record, at konsultasyon sa bawat nominado.
At si VP Leni ang nanguna sa lahat ng bahagi ng proseso matapos ang konsultasyon sa mga coalition partners at chapter members ng 1SAMBAYAN, ayon kay Carpio.
“We understand that the VP is still undergoing her own painstaking process of discernment, and has repeatedly said that she is willing to set aside her own candidacy if it will be for the good of our people and nation,”dagdag nito.
Nanawagan si Carpio kay VP Leni na sana ay tanggapin ang nominasyon ng 1SAMBAYAN at tumakbo bilang Presidente sa 2022 elections.
