NATIONAL Bureau of Investigation (NBI)Pangasinan arrested a man who threatened President Rodrigo Duterte via a Twitter post that whoever kills the president he will reward him with P50-M.
The Twitter post came after the ABS-CBN Network shutdown.
“I will give 50-M reward kung sino ang makakapatay kay Duterte #NoToABSCBNShutDown,” according to the post of a Twitter account named @RonPrince.
The owner of the account was identified as Ronnel Mas, a teacher in Taltal Masinloc, Zambales.
Despite the suspect’s deletion of his post and his account being deactivated, authorities are still able to locate the teacher’s place.
It was after the Pangasinan NBI launched a manhunt that they later arrested the suspect in Zambales.
The suspect initially denied the crime but when they applied reverse psychology to the suspect, he suddenly wept and confessed what he had done.
The suspect immediately apologized to the president and said he had no ill intentions in his post.
He just wants to express his thoughts through tweets and doesn’t expect people to notice them.
The NBI Pangasinan is preparing to move Mas to Manila after the NBI Central Office has ordered it.
