ON Friday, the city government of Marikina began testing its employees for COVID- 19 as they kicked off their mass testing inside the city hall.

Hundreds of employees were tested as part of the government’s measure to fight the spread of the virus.

After the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine o MECQ has been recently lifted, the city government has begun its targeted testing into selected sectors.

Mainly, the city’s factory and industry workers and the tricycle drivers alike who is the only public transport allowed during the MECQ.

O yung tinatawag na enhanced targeted testing,” Mayor Marcy Teodoro of Marikina City.

All those tested positive will be isolated and contract tracing will be initiated.

Not only that, but City Mayor Teodoro is also now gearing up on the post quarantine measures once the protocols have been lifted.

For today, nobody tested positive among the city hall employees.

Employees who will test positive will immediately be brought to the quarantine facility of Marikina for treatment.
