Environmental protection, peace and order highlight sa ikatlong Pre-SONA Forum

BINIGYANG-diin sa ginanap na huling yugto ng Pre-SONA Forum sa Davao City ang kahalagahan ng climate resilient communities sa bansa.

Ayon kay Environment Sec. Roy Cimatu na nanguna sa Climate Change Adaptation Mitigation and Disaster Risk Reduction Cluster, importante ang disaster risk resilience upang makabuo ng matibay at progresibong komunidad.

Inilatag naman ni Cimatu ang mga legislative agenda ng cluster nito sa 18th Congress kabilang rito ang Natural Land Use Act, pagbuo ng Dept. of Disaster Resilience, pagpapalakas ng renewable energy at ang nagpapatuloy na Manila Bay rehabilitation.

Samantala, inilatag rin ni Security Justice and Peace Cluster na pinamumunuan ni Defense Sec. Delfin Lorenzana ang mga nagawa ng pamahalaan upang masiguro ang seguridad at kapayapaan sa bansa.

Ipinunto ni Lorenzana ang layunin ng pamahalaan na masiguro ang implimentasyon ng safety at security measures sa loob at labas ng bansa.
