Prime suspect on Fr. Nilo’s murder, determined by PNP

The Philippine National Police (PNP) already determined the prime suspect and gunman who killed Fr. Richmond Nilo.

PNP Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde declared self-confessed gunman Omar Mallari who was caught in Arayat Pampanga last June 22.

The suspect got caught during PNP’S back tracking operation and after recovering a severely chopped Nissan Sentra with plate number THB 437 that was used as the suspects getaway vehicle.

Based on the information gathered by authorities, the suspect was paid one hundred thousand pesos (P100, 000) by a certain Manuel Torres who had personal hatred with the priest.

PNP has now also taken hold of Torres along with the other two suspects to have killed the priest.

Even with the suspects in their possession, PNP still doesn’t call it case closed and insists that they will keep on their investigation.

It can be recalled that Fr. Nilo was just killed last June 10, 2018 and was recorded third in a row of murdered priests in just a matter of six months this year.
